Designed to build drawing confidence in a beginner and to inspire the experienced student practice.
An introduction to the best practices for observational drawing grounded in the foundational elements and principles of art. These classes are tailored to individual needs and explore looking at found objects in nature, landscape or still-life compositions. Learn how to see more by looking closely, slow down and accurately draw what you see.
Learn to tackle more complex object structures and transform exploratory studies into finished drawings. Enjoy a variety of stimulating approaches to drawing using a range of media for drawing and painting toward individual style and expression.

Thanks for sharing your time and energy, and wonderful talent as a teacher and artist in your the landscape painting classes. It was challenging, fun and so informative. Painting Turners dog or O’Keeffe’s clouds was educational in ways I would haven’t expected or experienced any other way.
