These classes offer beginner and experienced students programs that explore traditional and contemporary processes to watercolour landscape painting in comprehensible demonstrations.
Strengthen your observational and technical skills for convincing representations of trees, mountains or hillsides within a landscape composition. The elements of art are incorporated into the teaching methods for composing a landscape. Learn the basics of viewpoints, proportional relationships and simple perspectives. Understand how to mix the colour you are looking for by simplifying your palette using two set primary colour selections to create a broad range of tints, tones and shades that add depth to your work. .
Katharine will lead you through magical drawing and painting demonstrations that reveal a variety of approaches inspired by master artist examples to inspire confidence and inspiration toward your own personal style and expression.
These online classes are formatted into three lessons of two-hour live presentations and demonstrations.
Each lesson is recorded so that you can review and enjoy further viewing for two weeks after the last class.
